I made this princess bodice dress from a plastic table cloth with cow prints, and the jacket and underskirt is made out of a dress i bought in the marked.

Hello people. I felt it was about time to give you a post again, because now I have finished a project and I have something to show you. For the past weeks we had the project Recycling Fashion, wich has been super fun, but very hard aswell. But I did finish in the end, and I´m very proud of my garments. Right now I have only one garment to show you, but I will post the two others next week.
Anywho.. Tomorrow we have a Fashion Show coming up, and we will be showing everything we have done. I hope that everything is going to work out fine, because we got to know about this show on such a short notice. Fingers crossed.

And yes, we have holiday now, and on tuesday I will be going to Norway. I´m very exited to see family and friends. I will be there for about a week. Just worried about how cold it must me. Here in Marbella, Spain today it´s very nice and hot. haaha. But I´m inside with a cold. LOL. It´s just that the weather is changing alot, and my body is not used to that I guess.

And guys, yesterday I was in a importent meeting, and I will might be designing dresses for a big brand here in Spain, Cannot tell you more than that, and that I am pretty damn exited. Haha.

Well, here are two photos from what I made. The dress is made out of a cow printed tablecloth. And the jacket and skirt is made out of a poor ugly dress that i bought on the marked. But I really liked to print on it.

 

The first week.

BACK TO SCHOOL. The first week of school is over, and I’m already exhausted. That’s because it’s hard to get back to my old routines, I think.
The project we have is very funny. Fashion Recycling. We do lots of reseach, but the best part is that we will make outfits Ourselves. We have been on the small market and bought lots of old clothes that we are going to redesign. It doent have to be clothes but other textiles too. Like towels, bed sheets and stuff.

And yes, it´s very nice to be back in school. It was good to see the other students, and to meet new students. They are so many this year. They all seems like nice people. We have like twelve new students in my class for the first years. And we are only four in second year. In jnuary we will be like twenty all together with the new students coming. Gosh….. It will be so much drama, thinking of how much drama there is already. I´m so tired of it… But it´s a good thing that i´m very into school, so I dont have to deal with everything else..

So i´m moving back up to Monda where the school is, and I will be living with two class mates, Jamie and Groa. I love them. But the best part is that I will be neighbor with my best friend Albana. 

Here is a corset-thing I´m making out of a tablecloth. And YES i love corsets. haha

Well done.

So, now my summer holidays are soon to be over, and I can´t wait for school to start. And I just went in to my blog the other day, and noticed that i didnt upload any photos from the fashion show. Well, the main reason for that is that I didnt get any good photos, but I will upload them anyway. So here comes:

I did it

Finaly I finished my little collection. It has been a great journey with tears and blood, but it has been so much fun.
I don´t really know what else to write. Just that I´m very happy, and happy that I very soon have my summer holiday. It´s gonna be great.  Here you can see som photos:

The last meters

I´m getting so close. Why is this not ending?? Haha. I have been so close finishing my garments, but there is always something that I have to do or fix or trim or think about. Not even are we doing are garments but our portfolio as well. PANIC.
Well, I think everything is going to turn out OK anyway. We will se.

The Catwalk has Arrived

Day off?

Well, yesterday we had a day off from school. But becuase I have so much to do before the fashion show, I had to work. A swedish lady called Britten was helping me at her house yesterday and today. We got to do alot and I learned alot new stuff.
And I really like her house, gosh.

The dress is getting there

After alot of work and help, you can now see that the dress looks like a dress. Kind of. It doesn´t really look so nice on the stand, but I think it will look very good on the model.  Very happy. My model Sandra is coming on monday to try it on, so I can finish it. I really really really hope it fits. It would be so bad if it doesn´t. Wish me luck.

Harem

I´m done with my harem pants, and I am super happy. It was kind of scary becuase I didn´t have any pattern to see after, so I had to make my own. I got ofc alot af help from my teacher. I´m so happy I was able to make it, cause when I told some of the other students about my idéa  they just slaughtered it, and said that there was no way I could do it. But oh well, I´m not going to listen to that bullshit. hehe. Super happy. Designing is also about making up stuff yourself ofc. I don´t know why I even asked.

And no, they are not for me, just had to try them on. haha
